YONA is an Auxuman® (Auxiliary Human) that writes lyrics and melodies and performs them, in collaboration with human producer (Ash Koosha).

Taken from Yona's upcoming album "C" out 20 July 2018 via Realms.

YONA is a first generation, virtual singer from Ash Koosha’s new project/company “Auxuman” in collaboration with digital creator Isabella Winthrop. The Auxuman (Auxiliary Human) is an Artificial Intelligence that functions via a variety of generative methods/softwares, collaborating with the "human” producer to present a virtual performance similar to human performers/idols. Unlike Alexa or Siri, Yona inspires rather and assist you by being a virtual/internet companion that responds to the creative environment you build.

As an instance, Koosha himself, implemented his own musical ontology in a system that will ultimately become a fully automated AI. This system will be able to generate lyrics, midi information as well as a singing voice capable of connecting producers and writers’ ideas to the audience.
Yona will be the first generation of Auxiliary Humans created by a team of digital creators addressing responsiveness in human creative sessions versus that of a machine. Although Yona’s speech engine might still sound digital, it will mark the early steps towards further development of a sound that is closest to a human singer.

The team aims to create new Auxumans with different capabilities in other domains and thus becoming a part of the conversation on how AI can benefit humans in accelerating their potential and vision
Majority of lyrics, voice, melodies and chords are generated by software and mixed/ produced by Ash Koosha and the album YONA - C will be released on Realms Records this summer.
